Payouts & reconciliation
Compare what the program reported with the amount you received.
How it works
The Payouts tab (Pro and above) is a reconciliation ledger with one row per pay period and program. It separates your measured clicks, the merchant’s reported clicks, conversions, and amount, and the amount you received. When the merchant has not reported a number, the field stays blank instead of showing 0.
A discrepancy flag appears when your measured clicks exceed the merchant’s report by at least 25% and at least 50 clicks. It suggests a question to ask, not an accusation. Ad blockers, late tags, and mismatched reporting periods can all cause gaps.
Studio users can import merchant statements as CSV files. The importer previews parsed rows and detected columns before saving them, so you can catch mistakes before they reach your ledger.
Earnings per click and conversion rates appear only when both sides of the calculation have real numbers. Missing data never appears as 0.
Set it up
- 1
Open the Payouts tab
Payouts requires Pro or Studio. On Free and Essentials, this tab explains what an upgrade unlocks.
- 2
Log a period
Record what the merchant reported for that period (if they told you) and what was actually paid.
- 3
Or import a statement
On Studio, upload a merchant CSV, review the preview, and commit it in one pass.
- 4
Review any discrepancy flag
A flagged gap may be worth asking the merchant about. It is not proof of a problem on its own.
Tips to get the most out of it
- Log the amount you received even if you skip the merchant’s reported figures. A payout needs only one complete pair of numbers to update its status.
- Treat discrepancy flags as conversation starters, not disputes. The threshold is conservative and flags only gaps worth asking about.
